We loved this hotel and would definitely return. Most Paris hotels in old buildings have tiny rooms. Since we were staying a week we wanted more space and Clef du Louvre was perfect for this. The decor throughout the hotel is lovely. Located about 3 minutes from the Louvre, the neighborhood is cultural but bustling with great shopping, restaurants and sights. The rooms are soundproofed very well.

Location is fantastic - unparalelled proximity to Jardin du Petit Palais, Colonnes de Buren, Le Louvre, Le Nemours, etc. The hotel lounge area was nice to hang out in. I loved the little macaron/gouter in the early evenings. Love the espresso/hot water machine available 24/7. Loved how close it it to everything. We love Asian food and it's got that in spades, as well as all of the great French restaurants and cafes just steps away. We got corner room 505 with wraparound balcony and two french doors. Comfortable bed with bench. Round table with two chairs and open shelving is very wise use of space. Small closet and safe. Bathroom was good with bathtub. We appreciated the housecleaning service and turndown service was nice. Especially with the 'fear of bedbugs going around Paris' - we were relieved knowing that La Clef was managing the cleanliness well. We did not have breakfast. Liked the Angelina biscuit tin and personal note from the manager when we checked in. Didn't realize that they left us champagne in the fridge until much later. A nice touch. Would have liked more verbal attention as we go in and out - as we were just mother/daughter traveling alone in Paris. We like the feeling of having staff know your name and watching out for you. Luvine/Ludine at front desk (from Strasbourg) was great! Abdoullah as porter great too.

The property itself is in the most ideal location to make your trip in Paris a very walkable one. The facilities were always clean and wonderfully maintained. The breakfast each morning was perfect and the staff were both kind and delightfully professional. The balcony view was something we enjoyed often and having a kitchen was also very nice. In the kitchen you’ll have every common utensil as well as all that you’d need to enjoy wine on the balcony. I highly recommend this location to anyone wishing to stay in Paris.

Fabulous property!!! Beautiful, sparkling clean, spacious rooms (with kitchen and balcony), secure hotel, perfect location and absolutely lovely helpful staff. La Clef Louve Paris is a perfect place to stay in Paris for an exceptional experience. We celebrated a 40th wedding anniversary and all staff made sure our special visit was perfect. From the charming welcoming staff to a big beautiful room with a lovely view, decorated bed and living room table, as well as champagne with chocolates awaiting us, it melted our hearts the moment we walked in. A perfect location, away from crowds, to explore Paris in a lovely neighborhood. The Louvre Museum is just steps away, as well as the metro. It was very convenient for sightseeing. This will definitely be the hotel we return to for future visits. We can not thank the staff enough for making our Paris experience perfect!!!

The friendly staff, especially Arlena in charge of the daily breakfast, made our stay most pleasant. The washer and dryer combination appliance was a pleasant surprise. The view of the plaza from our terrace was unexpected. The staff made sure we were made comfortable and welcomed. The surprise charcuterie and champagne for our 40th anniversary was beyond awesome. And most of all, the kitchen was a jewel! Merci beaucoup!!!

Location was one of the best. My room was nice and spacious. The cleanliness was top notch and the neoclassical interior design was so pretty and relaxing. The reception staff, specially the young lady were so kind and helpful.

Hotel's location is excellent because it is close to many attractions. Rooms are very good. The breakfast requires more varieties but was as per my taste which I liked very much.

Location was spot on less than 5 minutes from the Louvre. The room was lovely with Old Parisian charm. We were in 304, a corner room with 2 baloney door style windows. Turn down service is a nice touch. High end bathroom toiletries. The bed and the comforter was very comfortable. Complementary champagne and cookies. Great staff and it was well maintained and clean.

Great luxury hotel to stay for families in Paris near Louvre. Convenient to transportation. Convenient for walking to Louvre, Notre Dame, Marais. wouldn't hesitate to say again, room clean, spacious, with small kitchenette
